BOOOO – I Hate Halloween Candy

Feeling a little sluggish today as I was up late last night – trying to get some tasks completed (laundry, discount grocery shopping etc.) after the kids went to bed. The net result was that I didn’t exercise last night (other than walking the dog) and I needed extra coffee and some leftover Halloween candy to get me through today – boo.

Not a good trend – but I am hoping to be better tomorrow. The good news (I think) is that I am much more conscious of when I am making poor decisions, medicine and I am really trying to remember that to prevent future bad choices – we will see how it goes.

The daily PMD


  • Breakfast – 2 Eggs scrambled, onion and red pepper with a little bit of Rosemary Ham
  • Black Coffee
  • Lunch – Homemade Healthy Chili and Edamame & Mango Salad
  • Black Coffee
  • Black Coffee (late night last night I am tired)
  • Dinner – I made Tuna Melts (my mom’s recipe – but this is close – mine were not quite as healthy – tuna, real mayo, mustard, capers, green olives, onion, red peppers, black pepper, cheddar cheese on ciabatta buns)
  • Exercise – walked the dog for 20 minutes


  • No exercise today
  • 4 mini chocolate bars

A 30 something father of three, trying to get back on the path to better health and I figure going public (even if no one is reading) is the best way to stay true to that goal. Over the past couple of years my priorities have been renovating the house and learning to be a dad. Now, I am hoping that by getting back in to shape I will improve my energy levels, allowing me to accomplish even more.
